PEMF & TECAR Therapy Adelaide

PEMF Therapy

PEMF therapy is a non-invasive treatment that sends magnetic energy into the body to relieve chronic or acute pain by pulsing electromagnetic waves speeding the body’s recovery at a cellular level. The pulsed electromagnetic fields go deep into the muscles, nerves, bones and ligaments.

There are 100 trillion cells in the human body the health of our body depends on how effectively these cells are working together. Any problem at a cellular level decreases efficiency and makes us more vulnerable to toxins and infection.

Cellular dysfunction and cumulative tissue damage may lead to chronic pain.

PEMF therapy can help with pain relief, osteoporosis, improve sleep, sports injuries, bone healing, fatigue, wound healing, circulation.

TECAR

As well as a new PEMF machine, the clinic is also equipped with a smart TECAR Machine. TECAR is a form of electromagnetic therapy similar to shockwave therapy but more effective.

TECAR electromagnetic waves are aimed at the target tissues to produce heat drainage and stimulate cells involved with inflammation and heal them.

TECAR has been shown to reduce pain, stimulate venous drainage in the lymphatic system and significantly reduce both muscular and back pain.

Whereas ultrasound therapy and shock therapy use mechanical forces to create movement of particles and damaged tissues, TECAR therapy works at a much deeper level and it is therefore a more suitable treatment to treat chronic and deeper tissue pain.

Studies have shown that for acute pain conditions 3-5 sessions of TECAR is usually sufficient, but additional sessions may be required for more chronic conditions. But most pain conditions have shown improvement within a minimum of 10 sessions.

 FAQs

  • Yes, it is possible to combine these two therapies and we recommend it! Some cases may require more TECAR, while others more PEMF (or vice versa). These will be taken into consideration when you come in for your treatment.

  • Please come in something comfortable, as you will be sitting or lying down.

  • You may choose between 30, 45 or 60 minutes.

    30 minutes - $50

    45 minutes - $70

    60 minutes - $90

  • Depends on your specific case but we recommend at least 3-5 sessions. More sessions will be required for chronic conditions.
